Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc welcomes Abdelmadjid Tebboune's bid for a second term, pledges full mobilisation

On my own behalf and on behalf of the Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc, I wish to express our deep appreciation and satisfaction at Mr Abdelmadjid Tebboune's decision to run for a second term in the presidential election scheduled for 7 September 2024. This important decision, announced on the evening of Thursday 11 July 2024, reflects his wise response to the Bloc's appeal and his commitment to continuing the development and reform process he began in his first term.

The Bloc highly values Mr Tebboune's response to its appeal and commends his courage and determination to shoulder this responsibility once again, at a time when Algeria needs strong and wise leadership to secure stability and progress in all fields. The decision reflects his dedication to serving the nation and its citizens and strengthens the great trust the Algerian people place in him.

On this important occasion, the Bloc declares its full readiness to make this decisive election a success. We are committed to providing all the support needed for a high-quality campaign across the whole country and to mobilising efforts to ensure strong and broad popular participation, believing that this election is an opportunity for further achievements and a bright future for Algeria.
