Who we are: vision, mission, values, leadership and founders.

A national coordinating framework
The “Hisn Al-Mateen Institution Bloc” is a national, non-governmental social institution of a private nature, governed by Organic Law 12-06 on associations. It has legal personality and independent finances, and has no organisational or structural link with any political party under any circumstances.
The Bloc is a coordinating framework that citizens, associations, organisations and private institutions join voluntarily. It aims to drive local development and give associations a space to interact and show solidarity on social and economic issues, answering the call of conscience and national duty under the motto “One Homeland, One Nation, One History, One Destiny”.
It works to strengthen national cohesion between the State’s objectives and civil society’s interests, to consolidate unity through cooperation among citizens, and to spread legal culture and good morals in public life.

The New Algeria relies on the will of its young people: the beacon of the future, the pillar of the State and the homeland, the driving force of progress.— From Article 3 of the statutes
