Message of congratulations to Mr Abdelmadjid Tebboune, President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.

On the occasion of the endorsement you received from the Algerian people by a majority of the votes cast, saying yes to a second term, and of your victory in the presidential election, which returns you to the helm of Algeria with the full confidence of the people, it is our pleasure, joy and honour, Mr President, as president and director-general of the Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc Institution, in my own name and on behalf of all its officers, leaders, members, coordinators and affiliates, to congratulate you on this well-deserved victory, which we had anticipated, convinced that it springs from the will of a broad popular base, the backbone of the civil society of which we are proud to be part. May God grant you success in your noble duties, continuing the path of development and stability you began under your wise leadership during the first term, for a victorious, strong and flourishing Algeria, secure and solid, that preserves the dignity, livelihood and security of every Algerian.

Our hope, Mr President, as an association belonging to the civil society that believed in and endorsed your course, is that you will continue your support and efforts to lay solid foundations for genuine participatory democracy, in the service of the nation and its citizens, to unite Algerians, strengthen the country’s internal front and support the institutions of our proud State. We renew our constant commitment to safeguarding the land of the martyrs, our beloved Algeria, in the face of today’s challenges.
