Bloc requests meeting with Sahrawi ambassador and launches “End Moroccan Colonialism” initiative

The president of the Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc Institution, Mr Djelloul Chetouane, sent a letter to H.E. the Ambassador of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic requesting a courtesy meeting with representatives of the Bloc, as civil-society actors and in view of the Institution’s role in supporting the Sahrawi brothers.

The letter, dated 1 October 2024, presents the Institution as a national non-governmental institution of a special social character, with the motto “One Homeland, One Nation, One History and One Destiny”, and announces a new initiative among Algerian civil-society actors in support of the Sahrawi cause, entitled “End Moroccan Colonialism”.

The letter bears the signatures of the president of the Institution’s national bureau and of the president of the National Civil Society Committee in Support of the Sahrawi Cause, and the receipt stamp of the SADR mission in Algeria.
