Bloc conveys solidarity message to Sahrawi ambassador in Algiers Abdelkader Taleb Omar

Message to H.E. the Ambassador of the State of Western Sahara to Algeria, Mr Abdelkader Taleb Omar.

The Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc Institution never misses a gathering, lecture or event in support of freedoms and human rights without attending, whether as a guest of honour or as a participant. Attaching the utmost importance to supporting peoples striving for liberation, it reaffirms its steadfast position on supporting the Sahrawis’ right to self-determination through a free and fair referendum, in line with the relevant UN resolutions, charters and texts, in order to end Moroccan colonisation of Western Sahara. Algeria, government and people, remains firm in its support for and solidarity with the Sahrawi cause and the proud Sahrawi people.

Through this message of solidarity, on behalf of the Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc Institution and its committee for the defence of freedoms and human rights, we renew our solidarity with the brotherly Sahrawi people and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Saguia el-Hamra and Río de Oro. We salute the Sahrawi people, an example of determination, defiance, patience and struggle, and their attachment to the freedom of their country — geographically, historically, politically, militarily and culturally.
