Bloc condemns aggression on Gaza in statement addressed to the Palestinian factions' representative in Algeria

Official statement of the Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc Institution on the Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people

To Mr Youssef Hamdan, representative of the Palestinian factions in Algeria,

With militant greetings,

In keeping with our principles and with the Algerian Republic’s commitment to the Palestinian cause, we at the Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc Institution affirm the following:

• Strong condemnation of the Zionist aggression: we denounce the brutal crimes committed by the occupation against the Palestinian people, which have left hundreds of martyrs and wounded, and consider them a flagrant violation of all international laws and norms.
• Support for Algeria’s steadfast position: the Palestinian cause is a sacred national cause for Algeria, which has never ceased to provide political, diplomatic and humanitarian support to the Palestinian people, as reflected in its positions at the UN, the Arab League and the African Union.
• Call for urgent international action: we call on the international community, especially the Security Council and the guarantor parties, to shoulder their legal and moral responsibilities and press the occupation to stop its aggression and lift the unjust siege of the Gaza Strip.
• Activating pressure and influence: we support all efforts to strengthen diplomatic, legal and media action to expose the occupation’s crimes, and call for practical measures against this dangerous escalation.
• Commitment to humanitarian and solidarity initiatives: we are committed to working with all partners nationally and internationally to strengthen humanitarian and political initiatives supporting the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and their legitimate resistance.

Finally, we reaffirm that the liberation of Palestine is the cause of all free people in the world, and we will stand by the Palestinian people until they fully regain their rights.
