Algerian Muslim Ulema invite the Bloc's president to prepare the national popular conference for Gaza

The Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc Foundation is pleased to announce that its president, Mr Djelloul Chetouane, has received a kind invitation from the Association of Algerian Muslim Ulema to take part in the preparatory meeting of the national popular conference in support of Gaza and Palestine.

The meeting will be held on Monday 4 August 2025 at 5 pm at Nadi Ettaraqi, Martyrs' Square, Algiers.

The invitation comes as Gaza suffers brutal aggression and mounting massacres, and affirms the role of Algeria, government and people, in supporting the just Palestinian cause.

The meeting aims to:

• coordinate the components of civil society to support Gaza in the media, cultural and legal fields;
• broaden Algerian popular support for Palestine at home and abroad;
• strengthen popular discourse on the nation's major causes.

We affirm our full readiness to take an active part and to coordinate with all those sincerely committed to supporting Palestine, in loyalty to the martyrs' pledge and the values of the nation.
