Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc leadership holds consultative meeting in Bouchaoui forest on the Bloc's future

In a fraternal, family atmosphere, the leadership of the Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc met on 21 August 2025 in a natural setting in Bouchaoui forest for a consultative meeting on internal matters concerning the Bloc's course and future vision.

The meeting was attended by:

• Mr Djelloul Chetouane, President of the Bloc;
• Mr Arafat Bouaiche, head of organisation and chair of the national committee for civil society;
• Mr Salah Miloudi, Vice-President;
• Ms Widad Hamza, in charge of legal affairs and chair of the national committee in support of the Palestinian cause;
• Ms Meriem Fettati, who works tirelessly to raise the Bloc's profile, especially in the South;
• Mr Mohamed Berbouchi, expert on Greater Sahara affairs and the human make-up of the Sahel countries, and the Foundation's representative for the Greater Sahara;
• Mr Boualem Chouche, a loyal supporter of the Bloc's path.

The session addressed internal developments related to the Bloc's course, consultation on improving working methods and fine-tuning certain orientations so as to strengthen internal unity and the Foundation's effectiveness.

Combining warm human ties with serious discussion, the meeting confirmed once again that the Bloc's strength lies in the spirit of brotherhood and continuous consultation among its members, far from rigid formality and close to national values and field commitments.

The National Bureau
