Adrar: the Bloc's wilaya office holds a Pink October awareness day on women's cancers

Pink October activities continue in Adrar

The health committee and the community mental health committee of the Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc Foundation's wilaya office in Adrar organised an awareness day on women's cancers this afternoon, in coordination with the Higher School of Saharan Agriculture in Adrar, as part of the continuing Pink October breast cancer awareness activities.

The event included free medical check-ups for the school's female students, along with educational talks on the importance of early detection and prevention.

The Bloc's wilaya coordinator, Ms Meriem Fettati, said these initiatives are part of the Foundation's awareness work to spread a culture of health prevention among women and to encourage early detection as “the first line of defence for life”.

The Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc continues to support national health-awareness efforts, convinced that health is a shared social responsibility.
