Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc president meets Yuri Pimentel, Venezuela’s Vice-Minister for Africa

In a festive atmosphere marking the 50th anniversary, I had the honour of meeting Mr Yuri Pimentel, Venezuela’s Vice-Minister for Africa.

The meeting was marked by cordiality and mutual respect; we discussed ways to strengthen cooperation and relations between peoples, particularly in supporting just causes and African–Latin American coordination.

Such meetings confirm the importance of joint action and open new prospects for dialogue and solidarity among actors on the international stage.

My thanks and appreciation to this senior diplomatic figure for his positive spirit and openness to dialogue.
