Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc president meets Fateh Boutbig, agrees in principle on a formal meeting

As part of strengthening communication and consultation among actors on the national scene, we had a distinguished meeting with Dr Fateh Boutbig, president of the El Moustakbal party, in an atmosphere of openness and national responsibility.

During the meeting I was struck by Dr Boutbig’s political depth and realistic vision, as he showed a concrete grasp of the challenges and threats facing Algeria, while stressing the importance of national cohesion and joint action to confront them.

He also praised the vital role of civil society, foremost Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc, in consolidating participatory political action, as a force for proposals and support in the service of the nation and its stability.

It was agreed in principle to schedule a formal meeting between the leadership of Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc and the president of the El Moustakbal party, Dr Boutbig, at the end of April or the beginning of May, depending on his schedule.

Many thanks to Dr Fateh Boutbig for his open-mindedness, kind welcome and sincere desire to open avenues of cooperation and joint action for the good of Algeria.
