Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc denounces a campaign by opponents abroad targeting State institutions

Algeria has recently been facing a systematic campaign led by some who call themselves opponents, who have ganged up on the State’s institutions and core principles, trying to spread doubt and confusion through rhetoric that often lacks objectivity and national spirit.

Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc affirms that Algerians’ awareness has been and remains the bulwark against all attempts at defamation. Constructive criticism remains a legitimate right, indeed a necessity for correcting course, but the disinformation and distortion of facts practised today have nothing to do with national responsibility.

What a difference between those who were deported to New Caledonia because they held fast to their homeland and defended it, and those who chose to live in France, Britain and Morocco, making attacks on Algeria their daily fare!

The former made history with their blood and sacrifices; the latter chose the position of spectators who attack from afar without bearing the slightest responsibility.

The difference is clear… between those who sacrifice for the homeland and those who trade on crises with words.

Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc renews its firm commitment to national unity and its support for State institutions, calling for reason and a sense of responsibility and for confronting all attempts at defamation targeting Algeria’s stability.
