The Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc welcomes calls to unite national media efforts and strengthen public awareness in the face of disinformation and targeting campaigns directed at Algeria.

The proposals made at the institutional communication forum on the need to guide content creators and influencers towards a unifying national narrative are in line with what the Bloc has advocated for years: building a responsible national discourse that puts Algeria's interest above all else and strengthens belonging, unity and social cohesion.

The Bloc has always called for unifying national narratives around the shared constants of the Algerian nation and for involving young people, elites and opinion-makers in the battle for awareness, the first line of defence of the nation in the digital and media space.

Algeria today needs responsible media, meaningful content and influencers who carry a positive message reflecting the reality of the country, its achievements and its people's aspirations, far from rumours and discourses of doubt and division.
