Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc welcomes the founding meeting of the High Council of the Scientific Diaspora

Science unites Algerian talent… and Algeria is building its future through knowledge.

The Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc welcomes the founding meeting of the High Council of the National Scientific Community Abroad, chaired by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr Kamel Baddari, in the presence of Prof. Elias Zerhouni and a select group of Algerian scientists and researchers living abroad, attending in person and remotely.

The creation of this Council, decided by the President of the Republic, is a strategic milestone for strengthening the contribution of Algerian talent abroad to national development, through the transfer of knowledge and expertise, support for scientific research and innovation, and closer cooperation between universities and research centres at home and abroad.

Building a strong Algeria and a knowledge-based economy requires uniting the efforts of all its sons and daughters, at home and abroad, and making science and innovation a cornerstone of sustainable development.

We pay tribute to all Algerian scientists and researchers who continue to fly the nation's flag in universities and laboratories around the world, and we pray that God guides them in serving Algeria and its renewal.
