Legislative turnout confirms the Bloc president's forecast published in Akhbar El Watan

The day before, the newspaper Akhbar El Watan published a statement by the president of the Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc, Mr Djelloul Chetouane, in which he predicted that turnout in the People's National Assembly elections would be close to the 2021 level or slightly lower, based on a field reading and objective data, while stressing from the outset that the final word would belong to the official figures announced by the National Independent Electoral Authority.

Today, following the announcement of the official results, turnout stands at 20.76%, close to the estimate the Bloc offered before the vote.

This convergence confirms the value of field analysis and a calm reading of reality, free of exaggeration or preconceived judgements, and reflects the Bloc's commitment to positions grounded in real indicators and respect for official institutions.

In this context, the Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc again commends the National Independent Electoral Authority for its efforts in organising this national election, and calls for continued work to strengthen political participation and consolidate citizens' trust in the electoral process, in the higher interest of the nation.
