Bloc president congratulates the Sawt Echaab party leader on rising from 3 to 17 seats

Letter of congratulations to the President of the Sawt Echaab party

Mr President of the Sawt Echaab party,

Peace be upon you, and the mercy and blessings of God.

It gives me pleasure, personally and on behalf of the Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc, to extend to you my sincere congratulations on the outstanding results achieved by the Sawt Echaab (Voice of the People) party in the 2026 People's National Assembly elections, with 17 parliamentary seats.

This result carries great political value, not only given the circumstances of this election and its low turnout, but because it represents a qualitative leap for the party, which has moved from 3 seats in the previous term to 17 seats in the new Assembly. This reflects the expansion of the party's electoral base and citizens' growing trust in its political project.

Achieving such progress is in itself a challenge met and a well-deserved success, confirming that organised work, closeness to citizens and commitment to a serious political path can make a real difference on the national scene.

We are confident that this achievement will encourage you to continue your efforts and contribute effectively to legislative and oversight work, in the higher interest of the nation and in response to citizens' aspirations.

We pray that God grants you and all the MPs and activists of Sawt Echaab lasting success in continuing to serve Algeria with responsibility and sincerity.

Please accept, Mr President, the assurance of my highest consideration.

Djelloul Chetouane
President of the Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc
