Bloc warns that a social-media account and group using its name have no link to it

Official statement and warning

The Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc informs the public that the account and group in question have no organisational, legal or administrative connection with the Bloc. The account holder is not a member of the Bloc, holds no position or responsibility within it and has no mandate to represent it or speak on its behalf.

Accordingly, any posts, statements, positions or content issued by this account or group, including any use of the Bloc's name or logo, are personal acts that in no way represent the Bloc.

We hold the account holder, in his apparent capacity as administrator of the group, fully responsible for the content he publishes himself and for any content published under his administration, within the limits permitted by law, without this implying responsibility for third-party content except as established by law.

We expressly warn against using the name or logo of the Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc, or presenting any account or group as affiliated with the Bloc, without official authorisation, as this may mislead the public and damage the Bloc's reputation and credibility.

The Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc reserves all its rights to take every available legal and organisational measure against anyone found to have impersonated it, used its name or logo without authorisation, or published content liable to harm it or suggest a non-existent official relationship; the published evidence and screenshots have been preserved for submission to the competent authorities.

The Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc is officially represented only by its president, its approved offices and bodies, and the pages and channels officially announced by the presidency.
