Bloc vice-president Salah Tiza to El Moudjahid: national unity guarantees the country's stability

In an interview with the daily El Moudjahid, Mr Salah Tiza, vice-president of the Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc, spoke about the role of associations in strengthening social cohesion and citizenship values, stressing that Algeria's strength rests not on State institutions alone but also on citizens' awareness, social cohesion and a sense of responsibility.

Mr Salah Tiza said the Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc's priorities include supporting national unity, building trust between citizens and State institutions, spreading a culture of dialogue and encouraging young people to take a positive part in public life.

He also stressed the importance of civil society's contribution to local development, to supporting initiatives that serve citizens and to countering hate speech and division, while respecting State institutions and the law.

On national unity, the Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc reaffirmed its support for Algeria's unity, sovereignty and stability, and its rejection of all attempts to sow discord or damage the national fabric.
