On France's Radio Gazelle, Widad Hamza briefs the Algerian diaspora on inheritance and legal rights

A message to members of the Algerian community abroad on the airwaves of French station Radio Gazelle: a weekly segment on the legal rights and duties of Algerians living abroad.

To raise legal awareness among Algerians living abroad and inform them of their rights and duties under the applicable laws, Radio Gazelle hosted, in its weekly programme “Passport”, Ms Widad Hamza, a member of the national bureau and adviser to the Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc, joined by Ms Saoussen Hamza, the Bloc's delegate for the Algerian community in France.

Today's segment focused on inheritance, a legal and family issue of concern to members of the Algerian community. It highlighted the importance of understanding the relevant legal procedures and of knowing one's rights and duties, taking into account the laws in force in the countries of residence.

The segment is part of coordination between legal specialists and community representatives to help raise awareness among Algerian citizens abroad, support them in understanding the legal matters that concern them, and strengthen the protection of their rights within the law.

The Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc reaffirms its commitment to supporting media and awareness initiatives that serve the Algerian community abroad, foster legal culture and strengthen communication and solidarity among Algerians wherever they may be.
